About

The Centre of Movement was founded on the belief that children with disabilities are capable of far more than most people imagine. What began in Australia has now come full circle, with families no longer needing to travel overseas—intensive therapy is available here in Aotearoa. With centres in Rotorua and Christchurch, we are building a movement that honours whānau and gives every child the chance to thrive.

Let’s get moving!

We understand that travelling with a medically complex child can be challenging. That’s why we’ve established two clinics, Rotorua in the North Island and Christchurch in the South Island, making us within driving distance for most families.

To make your visit easier, we also offer an equipment library. When you arrive, we can help you access showering, bathing, ADL supports, and other pieces of equipment to make your trip smoother and more comfortable.

Choose the location that suits your family best and complete our quick intake form. This helps us understand your child’s needs and match you with the right therapy program. Spots are limited, securing your place now ensures your child can start their journey with us at the clinic closest to you.
